SoftBank Vision Fund

SoftBank transformed the investing world in 2017 by opening a fund of a $100 billion and the commitment to grow mature startups into global companies. The Vision Fund needed a strong platform to communicate the optimism, clarity, and scale of its ambition. I worked with design and strategy teams to help lead the concept of the website.

Intuition Robotics

In the expanding landscape of AI, Intuition Robotics is building multiple products to allow people to interact with intelligent machines. ElliQ is a companion to independent, older adults. NBCUniversal News Group

NBCU’s News Group needed to unify the entire process around building news stories. A single, centralized platform improves communication between each brand and reduces approval time within story production. Our design team worked with each department, from reporters to show leadership, to understand the process and workflow. I interviewed key stakeholders, contributed to the product vision, and helped design important flows within the MVP.

20th Century Fox

Movie of the Day is wonderfully simple in its approach, offering one deal each day. The app redesign focused on presenting immersive film content and smart notifications based on consumer’s favorite genres. I led UX and was involved across workshops, design, testing, and development support.

Mark

Mark is a proposed browser plugin and mobile app which blend independent news with collective response. The first goal of the platform is to create lessons that give context to today's pressing issues, addressing the difficulty of finding information in a landscape that increasingly separates factors. The second goal is to connect these lessons with actions through smart notifications. I outlined key flows and interviewed users to test the vision of this product.

Produced at UCLA Extension.

Polyera

When Polyera shifted from selling technology to producing consumer-facing products, the company needed to overhaul its brand. The logo is derived from the atomic bonding angles of ethylene, a common component of plastics. These angles were outlined and modeled into 3D forms. The end result is a simple, endlessly malleable shape that reflects the inherent properties of Polyera’s products. I worked closely with West’s Creative Director to concept and design the logo.
